Noon To Night at Avalon is a yearly event benefitting Bert’s Big Adventure. This was the second annual N2N event and it was another smash hit. They pretty much quadrupled the amount raised last year for this amazing charity!
“Established in 2002, Bert’s Big Adventure is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families.”
It was a fun and lively fashion show featuring clothing from the various shops/boutiques at Avalon plus some of the models were beautiful children that Bert’s Big Adventure help! The runway went down Main Street with seating on either side. The boutiques along the strip stayed open for people to shop and a portion was donated to BBA. There was also a really fun auction!
I was honored to walk in this fashion event alongside these wonderful children for a really great cause! My outfit was from Free People and I was lucky because they picked one out that was just my style(since I got to a lot of concerts this is the perfect outfit for a fallshow)! See below for a breakdown of each piece!
These adorably sweet children had a magical day of fun events, like dancing to a live musician, playing games, getting dolled up and strutting the runway (which they absolutely worked!!)! Van Michael and The Dry Bar provided hair and makeup. Everyone had so much fun getting special pampering. It was also heart melting and inspiring to watch these strong children with their bright spirits have so much fun, work the runway in their own style. Plus there was such an outpouring of donation from the guests. Avalon did it again!
Here are a few of the photos from the event and many more by photographer, Ben Dashwood available to view on Avalon’s website! This event was a huge success and not only brighten many people’s lives and day, but raised money for a really important cause. Looking forward to next year’s show!!
