Fashion Friday: Schitt’s Creek Costume Party. “A Little Bit Alexis” Outfit

As mentioned in my previous skincare post, last week my friends (plus hubby) and I celebrated our favorite show, Schitt’s Creek’s season finale and since next season will be their last we feel like this really needs to be celebrated. So we gathered at a local restaurant, Hampton + Hudson, dressed as our favorite character from the show. Of course, there were duplicates and my Moira and Johnny Rose were exhausted after working on the Cabaret and couldn’t make it(I kid).

This show is the absolute best TV has to offer currently, from extremely loud laughs, to crying to love and family relations plus the fashion! This is a show with so many layers and is best to watch each episode at least twice to catch everything.

After seeing the episode where Alexis auditions(click here to watch) for Moira and Jocelyn to be in the Cabaret using her song “A Little Bit Alexis” that she wrote for a reality show and worked on vocal training with Babs Streisand’s coach. Lol. Anyway, they actually released a version of this song on Spotify that’s got a beat you can dance to and is hilariously satirical.

I bought a wig that suited her hair length, color and style and the rest of the outfit was all clothes that I had in my closet. Except of course for the sideways ‘A’ necklace she dons in most episodes(along with either a floppy hat or some type of hair adornment). Her hair, makeup and clothes are always perfection and not only because Annie Murphy is stunning but because Schitt’s Creek has a fantastic makeup, hair and wardrobe team). Here is an example of the look I was going for by Lucky Makeup, hair is by Ana Sorys and wardrobe by Debra Hanson). Makeup by Brittany of Aillea Beauty post coming next and previous post on skincare routine.

Floppy Hat: Goorin Bros, my friend Danny helped me pick out the perfect floppy hat(called “Mother Jugs” for my style (before this party was planned), the hat I wore is made with 50% Hemp and 50% Cotton and has UPF protection and is perfect for this look!
