Fig & Flower Natural Beauty Boutique is located in Virginia Highlands, a trendy neighborhood in the city of Atlanta. Fig & Flower is one of the only all natural, organic/eco friendly beauty bars in town.  I went in recently to check them out and they have some amazing cosmetics, skincare and even household items that do not contain harmful ingredients.  As listed on their website, they’d avoid carrying any lines with the following ingredients: “Aluminum, Animal Testing, Formaldehyde, Glycols, Parabens, Petrochemicals, Phenoxyethanol, Phthalates, Silicones, Sodium Laurel/Laureth Sulfate, Synthetic Fragrances, Triclosan…”

Founder, Sara Lamond, started on a fitness and clean food journey in 2010 after becoming aware of ingredients in many foods that caused different symptoms. I love the makeup lines they carry at Fig & Flower, liked 100 Percent Pure (see my previous blog on this line),  RMS Beauty, Ilia Beauty and Kjaer Weis,  just to name a few.  They even carry household chemical free cleaning products by Common Good.  They have a refill station where you can bring your bottles back and refill which help save our environment by reusing the same containers! These products are all natural, chemical free and dye free!  You can also purchase products on their website if you are not local to Atlanta.

Fig & Flower also has some amazing makeup artists(Becca is my favorite!), so you can make appointments to get your makeup done for a special occasion or to get a makeup lesson and learn about all their natural and organic beauty lines.  Otherwise, their staff is on hand to help you pick out colors and products.
