A couple weeks ago, I wrote about and interviewed owner of The Dreaming Tree Mobile Boutique, out of Ft. Lauderdale(blog link here). Well, she has taken her inventory on the road for a series of pop up shops. So, this past Thursday, I had the pleasure of joining some fun ladies for sips and shops. It was a super fun evening with some familiar faces and met some new people! Let me tell you, this is how I like to shop….a non stuffy, low stress environment, without bright lights & people scrambling around to find the perfect outfit.
I feel like Katie has shopped for literally every person she knows and she is one of the best sales people I have met. Not only is she super charming and loveable but knows instinctively what items she has that will look perfect on each person she sells to. She has hand picked some really cute lines for her mobile boutique. I think the accessories are my favorite, mainly the purses and necklaces. Although, I still bought a super cute top (that I will show you all later because the hanger doesn’t do it justice) I am in love with the outerwear she carries….especially the kimonos!
The hostess and our lovely friend, Sara, had some really nice hors’ d’oeuvres and wine to inspire is to shop more!! I just kept finding great things and trying on, I really am proud of myself for my restraint.
Here is a taste of what I bought and can’t wait to represent with these, as they are definitely unique pieces I certainly don’t have to worrying about someone else wearing!
These purses are not only wristlets but have a strap to make them into a cross body. They are made from vegan leather and cork, with super cute patterns! The company is called Pixie Mood and is based out of Toronto. I just love my purse and so does my mom(she got the floral print one)!! I will definitely be writing about this company some more soon! There are a ton of more designs on their website as well!
I also am in love with this delicate and beautiful handmade necklace I got by Seeds Jewelry out of MN. These designers work with a group of artists in Haiti who make the jewelry as well as other lines/items. More to come on both of these amazing companies later, but here is a taste of their gorgeous necklace line. Check out Seeds’ Instagram as well as their artists group in Haiti.
