Eco Glitter Fun: Biodegradable Glitter for New Year’s parties!!!

Eco Glitter Fun.

I don’t sweat I glitter!! I love me some glitter and shimmer!! Today’s #ecofriendly shoutout goes to @eco.glitter.fun who makes awesome biodegradable glitter in time for the New Year’s celebrations!!! Did you know that glitter is just bits of plastic that end up in the ocean and is harmful to the ecosystem??

We don’t think of this daily and it is definitely challenging to bring awareness to this problem. Plastic has been engrained into our lives and it like a lot of things that just become normal every day things, are starting to chip away at the safety and habitability of this planet and all things living on it. I hate to be a downer, but I remember so clearly years ago people saying they couldn’t make things change because they’re just one person. Well, years of this mindset and millions of people thinking this way plus the fact that it didn’t directly impact them at first.

There are still varying opinions on if all these things really make a difference, but I’m at the way of thinking that it’s now or never. We see increasing evidence of ocean life being harmed and killed by our practices and just every day things we do without concerning ourselves with the effects. Life is too busy these days to put much energy into these things, but when really if we all make small minor changes they can have great impact on the future of our kids, grandkids and all living beings on the planet

We are all sharing this amazing space we call earth and just for the benefit of humankind if not for other living things, we should have more care and love for this earth that supports us and keep it beautiful and healthy.

One of the ways to do that is with our skincare and beauty products we use daily. Well luckily there are ethical makeup and yes glitter brands out there! There are also so many more options nowadays than there once were, not only that but affordable options. I have so many recommendations if you need them, just ask me!

So today’s post focus obviously is eco friendly/biodegradable glitter that you can use on the body or with your makeup. It’s super fun for New Years Eve, festivals, concerts, a night out with friends or costumes!  Their glitter will not destroy our planet and is very pretty, plus they have tons of color combos!  In this post, I’m trying out the blue and gold glitter and I loved them. It’s suggested to use their (or an) organic aloe gel, but I used a coconut oil and it seemed to work fine!
