Malas With A Mission

Malas With A Mission

Malas With A Mission is a wonderful and caring company owned by Meagan Hurst, an amazing human and yogi who’s mission is to help other humans and animals. I will lead you to her full story on her website so you may learn more about her cause and story. Meagan is committed to employing those who need and especially empowering and employing women! Meagan’s malas are all handmade with care by artisans in New Delhi. She found these artisans, a small family business, while on a hiking trip though India and have developed a relationship with them, they hand make all of them and they are paid and treated fairly. Such a great and inspirational story and you can feel really great about your purchase not just because the stones/beads used are specific to types of energies/meanings and are handmade with care! Also, they’re beautiful and meaningful! Purchase on the shop by clicking here!

“Malas sold here are traditional 108 bead prayer necklaces, each hand knotted with love & care in rishikesh, india. each necklace is made with real crystals, sandalwood or rudraksha seeds and finished with silk tassels. each purchase includes a small jewelry pouch, an info card for whichever organization your mala supports and a “how to care for your new mala” card. “

You can see these and purchase Malas in person at a Bella Moda upcoming Ethical/small business pop up market on 12/1! Click here to go to Yoga & Events section for details!

“Our mission is to fight for women, children and animals. by choosing a mala you are contributing to freedom and equality. we would love for you to use your mala to raise awareness and speak on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves. together, we can change the world.”

Another great thing is that when you purchase a mala from Malas With A Mission, you can choose one out of three options in which to donate a portion of the price.
